This Privacy Policy explains how Trn.AI ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you access or use our mobile application ("App") available on the App Store and any related services (collectively, "Services"). Trn.AI is the data controller for the purposes of this Privacy Policy unless otherwise stated.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by us in connection with the Services, including via the mobile application, website, and any offline interactions.

2. Personal Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

When you register for an account, fill in your profile, ask questions via the AI coach, provide health/fitness/training data, contact support, or participate in surveys, we may collect:

• Profile data (name, email address, avatar, fitness goals, body metrics)
• Health or workout data you voluntarily provide
• Payment/billing information via the App Store
• Communications with us (support requests, feedback)
• Survey responses, event participation, or job applications

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services we may automatically collect:

• Device information (model, operating system, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers)
• Usage data (pages visited, features used, session durations)
• IP address, timezone, mobile carrier, general location derived from IP
• Cookies/pixel tags/local storage for analytics and functionality

C. Information from Other Sources

We may receive information about you from third-party services, such as the App Store, login services, or social networks.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide our Services: managing your account, personalising training sessions, answering your questions via the AI coach, processing payments, customer support.
• For administrative purposes: fraud prevention, security, operations, research & development, quality improvement.
• For marketing and advertising: with your consent where required; we will not use sensitive health/fitness data for interest-based advertising unless permitted by law.
• Other purposes: where you ask us to, or we otherwise have your consent.

4. How We Disclose Your Information

We may share your information with the following categories of third parties:

• Service providers (hosting, payments, support, analytics)
• Our third-party AI provider, OpenAI, and only with your explicit in-app permission — see section 5 for exactly what is sent
• Business partners with whom we jointly offer services
• Advertising/marketing partners (where permitted)
• Legal/regulatory authorities, or in connection with a business sale, merger, or asset transfer

5. The AI Coach and Third-Party AI Processing

The coach in the App is powered by a third-party artificial-intelligence service. We ask for your explicit permission inside the App, on a dedicated screen, before anything is sent to it. Until you agree, no message or training data of yours leaves our servers for that service, and our API refuses any request that would send it.

A. Who receives the data

OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C. and its affiliates) processes the requests that generate coach replies, workout plans, exercise swaps and exercise guides. OpenAI acts as our service provider (processor) and is contractually bound to use the data only to return a response to us. Requests may be routed to OpenAI through an infrastructure provider acting on our behalf under the same obligations. We have confirmed that these providers offer protections equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy, and we do not permit them to use your data to train their models.

B. What is sent

• The text of the messages you write to the coach, and the coach's previous replies in that conversation — including anything personal you choose to type into them
• Your training preferences: goal, training location, and available equipment
• A summary of your recent workouts: dates, workout and exercise names, number of sets, and the heaviest weight logged
• The exercise you asked to swap and the free-text reason you gave for the swap
• Your preferred coaching language, so the reply comes back in it

C. What is never sent

• Your name, email address, account identifiers, or password
• Your payment or App Store billing information
• Data read from or written to Apple Health / Google Health Connect — that connection is one-way and stays on your device
• Your support conversations

D. How it is collected and used

The data above is collected from what you type in the App and from the workouts you log in it, and is sent to the AI provider only at the moment you send a message or request a swap — never in the background and never on a schedule. It is used solely to produce the response you asked for: understanding your request, generating a workout plan, choosing a replacement exercise, or writing the coach's reply. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or sold to anyone.

E. Withdrawing your permission

You can withdraw your permission at any time by contacting us at skymanrm@gmail.com, or by deleting your account in the App (Profile → Delete account), which erases your data on our side. Once withdrawn, the AI coach stops working and nothing further is sent. The rest of the App — your workout history, logging, progress and records — does not use the AI service and is unaffected.

6. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights such as:

• Accessing and obtaining a copy of your personal information
• Requesting correction, deletion, or anonymisation of your personal information
• Objecting to or restricting processing of your personal information
• Withdrawing consent where that is the basis for processing
• Receiving your personal information in a portable format
• Opting out of certain marketing communications (emails, push notifications)
• Disabling cookies/technologies (though some features may not work properly)

7. Security of Your Information

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal information. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

8. International Data Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to and stored in countries other than the one in which you reside. We will take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection for cross-border data transfers in accordance with applicable law.

9. Retention of Personal Information

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

10. Supplemental Notice for California Residents

If you are a California resident, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) you have additional rights, including the right to know the categories of personal information collected and whether it was disclosed for a business purpose.

11. Supplemental Notice for Nevada Residents

If you are a Nevada resident, you may opt out of the "sale" of your personal information under Nevada law. Currently, we do not "sell" your personal information.

12. Children's Information

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If we become aware that a child has provided us personal information in violation of applicable law, we will delete it and terminate that child's account.

13. Other Provisions

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites/applications not controlled by us. We encourage you to review their privacy policies, as Trn.AI is not responsible for their practices.

If you reside in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or Brazil, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe our processing violates applicable law.

Changes to this Privacy Policy may occur; we will post changes on our website/app and indicate the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
